Simon Lapeyry is the head of Business Development and Sales of Intrinsic, a robotics software and AI company at Alphabet. Intrinsic aims to unlock the creative and economic potential of industrial robotics for businesses, entrepreneurs and developers by making industrial robots easier to use and train. Intrinsic became an Alphabet “Other Bet” in July 2021.

Simon joined Intrinsic in 2022 through Intrinsic’s acquisition of Vicarious, a leading Silicon Valley-based AI and robotics system integrator that specialized in Robot-as-a-Service. At Vicarious he helped scale the business, driving go-to-market and revenue generation (sales, marketing, partnerships).

Before that, Simon was a Principal at the Boston Consulting Group, where he advised leading Tech, Industrial and Energy companies on Operations, Strategy, Sales & Revenue growth, across several continents.

Simon holds a Master of Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris, and a Master of Science in Mathematics from Harvard University.
